Curriculum

Silver Bells Convent School is committed to providing a well-balanced, activity-based, and child-centered curriculum that supports the all-round development of our students. Our curriculum is designed to create a perfect balance between studies and activities, and is based on the Montessori Method for kindergarten classes and the CBSE pattern for class I onwards.

Our curriculum is carefully planned, monitored, evaluated, and reviewed periodically to ensure that it meets the needs of our students. For kindergarten classes, we use blocks, toys, and story techniques to teach the tiny tots. We ensure that the curriculum is designed in such a way that the child does not feel burdened at any stage.

Our teachers use English language and motivate students to do the same. Each section has a limited number of children to ensure a rich learning environment. Our teachers are dedicated, well-qualified, experienced, and genuinely interested in the all-round development of the child.

To ensure effective and efficient teaching, we provide ample numbers of worksheets from time to time to support the various concepts taught in the class. We implement the best study plans to ensure that our students excel in their studies.

At Silver Bells Convent School, we understand that every child is unique and has different needs. Therefore, we do not move ahead only with a few students in the class. Average and below average children are given remedial instructions, whereas bright students are kept motivated. Their scholastic and multidimensional needs are well attended to.

We aim to create a learning environment that promotes the overall development of our students, and we strive to instill in them the values of discipline, determination, duty, and devotion. The Teaching Methodology

Our emphasis is on providing a healthy learning atmosphere to students, to ascertain maximum learning. A specialized teaching technique at AIS motivates the students for self-learning and enables the teachers to work for continuous improvement. The curriculum has been evolved to achieve a balance between the academics and the development of the body and the mind.

AIS also pioneers in taking technology to all its students by revolutionizing its Pedagogy from conventional to modern ways. A digital initiative – Smart Class has successfully converted the classrooms into learning laboratories. Equipped with a large repository of digital content in accordance with the Indian school curriculum, it reaches to students of Pre Nursery to XII, covering all subjects in 2D and 3D modules. This innovation has enabled students to comprehend the abstract and intricate concepts of the subjects as they experience the mountain unfolding their mysteries, feel the threatening volcanoes and enjoy the uniqueness of Planet Earth.
